Introduction | It seems our stories are all the same with little differences here and there. I am a mom of two who started crafting way too long ago and has never been able to completely give it up. It is an addiction. I made 200 dolls or so up until my second child was hitting the toddler years then I hung it up to take an adventure on a boat that eventually sank. It was a dream come true at the time, my own shop, a gift shop at the local ski resort. A comfy, warm, appealing little shop that I was so proud of. We did well until the economy changed the way people were shopping and the downward spiral began. I gave it up in August of 2010. I do miss it but really there is nothing like being at home, playing in clay and making doll dresses waiting for the kids to come home from school. My daughter says I seem much happier being home and I am. I love doll making, always have. Everyone doll is such a creation, different from the one before. I also had got into making candles and creams while I had my shop. I have had so much luck with them I do offer them at events and on etsy. Hexie is way out in the backwoods of PA. Lots of folk stories of witches, that's why it's called Hexie! |

The squish of mud between your toes; how would you live your life as a frog?
Relaxing in the sun! Of course I'd get bored and have to play in the mud and make something!
