| Introduction | "Hey! I'm Ashly. 19 years young and trying my hardest to lead a normal life... I've been chronically ill with an unknown disease for about 5 years. Suddenly just a few days ago (January 18th ish), I found the answer: I have late stage Lyme disease! I start treatment in May when I'm able to see a specialist and I'm praying like crazy that I can have my life back. It's hard to keep positive when I see so many sites telling me that it's too late now... If any of you have a story about this disease with a happy ending, please share! I need something to believe in." ***UPDATE*** I'm now 23 and I'm still alive. Lol My health has improved dramatically over the past several years, and I'm so thankful. I still have a ways to go, but I'm well on my way. |
