Introduction	My passion is combining old with the new by restoring and salvaging items that would otherwise have been thrown away. Some may consider this "Altered Art" or "Mixed Media Art." I consider myself a good old-fashioned Folk Artist, with a strong emphasis on Holidays, Customs, and Traditions.
Interests	I LOVE creating original folk art using vintage materials and different mediums. For me, creating something from nothing is my own personal form of prayer. I also enjoy exercising in the form of both yoga and Pilates. Interests also include vintage Christmas, Halloween, holiday celebrations, paper ephemera, art journals, ATCs, mixed media, assemblage, altered art, paper clay, wood carving, antique anything, old toys, 1920s, 1930s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, shabby chic, country cottage, red, orange, pink, black, Santa Claus, Scrooge, vintage comics, Richie Rich, Little Dot, paper dolls, folk art, humor, tin toys, wood toys, carnival, circus, harvest, Christmas ornaments, home, hearth, winter, Fall, Spring, Summer, Easter, Valentine's Day, crafts, Ebay, Etsy, farm life, paper mache, paint, primitive, country, fantasy, elves, fairy, woodland, pixies, glitter, books, ghost stories
Favourite Music	Since most of my folk art is Christmas related, I listen to Christmas music all year long for ideas and inspiration.
Favourite Books	"The Creative Call", The "Better Homes and Gardens Santa Claus Collection" series, all Ron Ransom carving books. I also love to read "Somerset Life" and "Where Women Create" magazines. All these books and magazines are packed with eye candy and inspiration!
