| Introduction | I've always figured that we are what we do....so here goes! My main focus is my family. Most of my non-work energy goes into maintaining as many family relationships as I can. I have a big one so this is no easy task. Professionally, I'm a psychologist and professor of psychology at the University of Michigan-Flint. My main work is promoting mental health and treating mental illness but I also teach psychology part-time. As each year of my life passes, I have slowly come to the realization that change is constant (try as I might to deny it). All I can do is try to hold on and keep close to the things I love. Otherwise, they might slip away. |
