| Introduction | A passion for living with an equal dedication to challenges and gifts, quality in life and of life is the most important thing to me. My first professional chapter was in the separate and combined fields of health and beauty. A NYC hair and make up artist and fitness instructor, a glamour puss and an avid athlete. Offering me critical tools, neither filled me totally so I continued to search while on my journey. As I age somewhat defiantly other more serious issues have arisen, now ill for 24 years. Stricken with Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome in 1990 I look forward to sharing some of my information on CFIDS and my struggle to survive it. In addition I have been afflicted with more serious maladies, fighting hard, in it to win not to manage or lose. My loves have been my dogs, past and present, cooking, my digital camera, a real DIYer restoring old furniture, the consummate second hand freak, a die hard New Yawker, politically interested and active when I can, today I fancy myself a writer and a poet.
