Introduction I am a feminist theologian and ethicist and recently received my Ph.D. in religion at Claremont Graduate University focused in the areas of women studies and theology, ethics, and culture. I currently teach in the department of theological studies at Loyola Marymount University. My research interests are theologically and ethically driven, involve a feminist and interdisciplinary approach, and are influenced by my activist roots and experience working with survivors of rape and domestic violence. Areas I specialize in include women studies in religion, feminist theologies/thealogies, multicultural feminisms, ecofeminist theology, rape culture, theologies of suffering and evil, music and theology, contemporary social ethics and international human rights. Issues I am especially passionate about are violence against women, torture, global poverty, and the atrocities occuring in the Congo, Tibet, and Darfur.
