About me

Gender FEMALE
Location San Diego, California
Introduction I live in Southern California. I am the mother of four beautiful daughters. The most amazing thing I did with my life was to trust it to the nature of God. To put my life into the hands of a God who totally loves me and delights in helping me. My inspiration for writing comes from many places. This quote always arouses the story teller in me. It's like in the great stories Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were and sometimes you didn't want to know the end because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end it's only a passing thing this shadow even darkness must pass. A new day will come and when the sun shines it'll shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you even if you were too small to understand why. But I think Mr. Frodo, I do understand I know now folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn't. They kept going because they were holding on to something. What are we holding onto Sam? That there's some good in the world Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for.
Favorite Movies My favorite movie of all time is Big Fish. I love the fact that the main character saw his life so big, colorful and so far from the mundane. The end of the movie is my favorite. As I watch his son carry him to the river and all the people who filled his life are standing on the river bank applauding, I am bawling! The movie has so many lessons hidden within the story, the town of Spector being one of my favorites. If you have never seen Big Fish, rent it. It will be well worth it!
Favorite Music Music inspires my writing. I love songs in all genres whether country, instrumental, inspirational, or yes even on a rare occasion rap. I like songs that connect and speak to my soul.
Favorite Books Like my music I love a variety. Although I write fiction, I enjoy reading non fiction. Some of my favorites include: In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day, Wild Goose Chase, Primal, The Five People you Meet in Heaven, The Lost Symbol, The Shack, and right now I am actually reading Warped Passages.
