| Introduction | Hi! My name is Randee Harris, and I'm a young, unwed mother. Don't worry! I've never been on MTV, and I did, in fact, Know I Was Pregnant. I started this blog, in part, with a renegade desire to speak up for us young moms who don't wear crop tops, read for fun, and appreciate the virtues of a finely baked cupcake. But now, as I write these words, I realize that I don't have any particular interest in this blog being too earnest or ideological. Because, let's face it, parenthood is mostly humbling and humorous and respective to each parent and not at all a capitol-storming issue. I mean, the highlight of my day was getting farted on by my five-year-old, for crying out loud. I have no time for revolutionary thought. So I've decided to just fill these web pages with my successes and failures as a parent, and hopefully there's somebody out there who smells what I'm stepping in.
