| Introduction | I have been through a few careers over the years from medical to social work with special needs kids, all the while co-owning, with hubby of 38 years, a working horse ranch and now love the fact that my life long hobby and love of antiquing is now a real business venture to enjoy. No, we are not getting rich but it's a ton of fun and pays for our addiction to all of the old stuff. I have never lived in "town" and come from a long line of strong pioneer women. I was born in the Texas Panhandle town of Pampa but have spent all of my adult life near Austin, Texas. I do make it up that way every few years...I figure that road runs south and downhill easier so prefer to see family and friends in my corner of Texas. I love the simple life which could be seen as country or maybe a bit hippie and I like to think I am the best of both. I am opininated, able to shoot the eye out of a gnat at 400 yards, and charm the sock off the grumpiest codgers. A true Texas woman is cowgirl and lace. She can wear pearls and a dress in a ballroom or a tee-shirt and jeans at the local honkey-tonk and be equally comfortable either way. Yee-haw y'all and God bless Texas! |
