| Introduction | Hey there. Welcome to my Photography blog! These photos were taken for my Intro to Photography class during the Spring '08 semester. I'm currently a sophomore at Rutgers-Newark with a major in Television and Media. This class helped to get my creative juices flowing in ways I never thought possible. For me, being at the right place at the right time and letting go of all your inhibitions is crucial to being a good photographer. It taught me to not be afraid to challenge myself, talk to strangers, or make a fool out of myself. A lot of my photos tend to capture things right in the moment or on edge, whether it's waiting for the shadow to align perfectly or the airplane to stop at just the right spot. I really enjoy finding things on edge and have also become very interested in photographing people. My work also generally plays with bright colors contrasting against dull neutral ones. Hence the name "Contrasts". Hope you enjoy! |
