About me

Introduction I'm a loving wife and mother who spends 70% of her time as a graphic designer and 70% of her time as a stay-at-home mom. What, you don't think that adds up? Well consult any work-from-home parent and they'll confirm the math is accurate. In January of 2011 I started paying closer attention to the foods our family was consuming. As I spent more time on-line (reading different foodie blogs) my husband found his meat portions becoming smaller and smaller and veggies popping up everywhere. Suddenly he was married to a mostly-vegetarian who didn't allow processed foods in the house (he said for Better or Worse - I have it on tape). Now I'm feeling better than I have in years, our daughter questions smoothies that aren't a shade of green and the Hubs has perfected his "Why can't we just have hot dogs and corn on the cob - corn's a veggie" face. {just kidding, he'd NEVER make that face, or reminisce about the "Good old days"}
