Introduction	I was raised in a small northwest Oregon town of 1000. My great great grandparents came to Oregon in 1849 and settled a small valley. We were Jews and unknown to me untill I was 30 I was still Jewish according to Jewish Law. I began to learn what and who I was as a Jew. Without intention to become religious I became religious over a period of 10 years. Due to my enthusiasm in learning who and what I was as a Jew I encountered something I thought didn't exist any longer Anti-Semitism that nearly destroyed my life and two others, one of which is now my wife. Yet the G-d of Israel was merciful in that He allowed us to gain something more valuable than gold through our hardships, something denied us by assimilation of our familys over the several generations - A strong Jewish Idenity. This is our story as it happened, is happening and will happen in returning to our homeland of Israel
