Introduction	Hello, my name is Ivan and thank you for stopping by my Blog. I am a 46 year old Englishman living my rural dreams in the French countryside, in Normandy. I live with my Canadian partner of 24 years who shares the same passions. We have a pug, a chicken and many bees! After attending the Paris cookery school, the Cordon Bleu (1990/91), I developed a real passion for food. As a home chef, I enjoy looking for new products and preparing all sorts of dishes with new flavours. All the recipes on this blog are my own and I want to share them with you. Apart from cooking, I love gardening and growing my own vegetables. My partner is in charge of making our own cider and calvados from our orchard planted with old varieties of cider apples.
