Introduction	After OU, I joined the Navy. My ship, the USS Rainier, was near the Tonkin Gulf in 1964 when two US Navy ships were attacked. That started the Vietnam War. I had joined the Navy to see the world. Not to go to war. The war had been going about a year when my tour of duty ended. I entered the car business and owned several franchises. I am currently a Kia/Suzuki dealer in Norman. I enjoy traveling and I have been fortunate to see a good part of the world. I enjoy out of the way places and I have dragged my wife screaming to places such as Tibet, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar (Burma), East Germany (before the wall came down), Russia, Nepal, India, Cuba, China and other places. Have been to sane places in Europe though. I have tried out for "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race" 7 times. Guess they think I’m too old. I manage my wife’s art career. This means, I put the wires on the back of her paintings and hang them at shows. Our three great children (boy, boy, girl) are married and have given us eight marvelous grandchildren.
