| Introduction | I am an artist whose love affair with plants inspires me to use landscaping as a way to paint a living picture in the garden. Color, texture, pattern, and motion are the visual pleasures that guide my design, inviting the viewer to sense and experience the garden in a variety of ways throughout the seasons. My fine arts degree is from the University of Oregon, and I am also a certified organic gardener. While I continue to paint and draw, plants are my passion, and I have been gardening for nearly 15 years. Four years ago I started designing gardens for others, plus I renovate existing gardens, mentor clients in landscape maintenance, and do garden installation and maintenance for both ornamental and edible gardens. |
