| Introduction | I am a retired Yorkshireman who worked until the age of 65 yrs in Farming, Selling, Royal Observer Corps, Royal Air Force (24 years), HM Prison service (20 years). I was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) in the Queen's New Years Honours list 1981 and award the honour of becoming Member of The British Empire in 2005 Queen's Birthday Honours list. I was presented with my MBE at Buckingham Palace by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in December 2005. I live happily with my wife of 43 years Beryl at Wilberfoss in East Yorkshire. |
