Introduction | My passport says that I am an Indian, residing in Delhi. I have done my Master's in Mech. Engg. from Moscow (1998). My work experience has been quite diverse, spread across the last decade or so, in India and in Moscow. I worked as an interpreter at the exhibitions and seminars in Moscow, Marketing and Sales Manager and subsequently Representative Head of a Dubai based, textile group's office in Moscow. In 2000, I returned to India and represented an indigenious Mumbai-based company, manufacturing Biotechnology equipments. Later, I initiated a partnership, working in the sphere of Human resource. The consulting unit worked for leading IT companies (Wipro, IBM, HCL), supporting their recruitment needs. This lasted a while (3 yrs.) and actually did quite well. There came a point when my desire for the work ebbed. We parted amicably. I was free at last. At first there was speculation by everybody (even me) as to what my next step would be. In 2002 I got married to Shakti, my love. I took a decision and with her support am hanging on to the dream I now hold - to become a professional artist and to publish the book that I am writing. I thank her for her support, love, and understanding. |
