| Introduction | Life gets pretty hectic for the Vranes household. My kids have a Mom who is a professional artist (no, not like your Grandmother was...but one who really does paint for a living!), and a Dad who manages the art business full time. This is not your traditional family structure...but it is working for us!
I have a studio in the house where I work between 8-10 hours a day. My best and favorite time to work is in the evening when the house is quiet...and the kids are all in bed. My husband, Matt, truly does deserve the "Man of the Year" award. He's constantly taking the kids on errands or out to play, so that I can have time to finish up paintings for Galleries or commissions for Collectors. On top of that, he keeps the website up to date, works with the Galleries and clients, and is the master packer and shipper -- I basically don't have to worry about anything else but painting! It's been fun to see the family business grow each year.
