Introduction For most of my adult life I lived in the Maryland/D.C. area where I studied and exhibited sculpture. In 2000, my husband and I relocated to our vacation house. That's how I returned to my hometown in southern Virginia (SOVA)--to a tiny 1890's house on a quiet street in a small town on a huge lake. Because the house was so small, a workshop/studio was built in the back yard. After setting it up for sculpting, I decided to paint. From 1987 to 1993 I was a resident artist at Montpelier Cultural Arts Center in Laurel, Md., and was a member of Studio Gallery in Washington, D.C. In April 2009 I began blogging--I thought writing about clearing the clutter from my workshop would help me become organized. The truth is: I sold some paintings and bought more stuff! I'm a member of Convergence Art Guild in Halifax VA.
