Introduction With freedom, books, flowers, and the moon, who could not be happy? ~ Oscar Wilde
Interests Being creative, the smell of cooking pie, looking at little distant fuzzy things in the sky with my telescope, making books, finding pretty rocks on a rainy day at the beach, pretty shiny things, listening to the rain on the roof at night, singing in the rain, reading a good book while drinking tea on a rainy day, watching people in the rain from a coffee shop window, jumping in mud puddles, lying in the grass watching clouds (but not while it's raining), knitting scarves, peeling wallpaper, watching snowfall, Christmas lights, Christmas decorations in general, wearing unusual eyewear, collecting fortunes from fortune cookies, and watching movie credits just to hear the music.
Favorite Movies Monty Python: The Holy Grail, Rear Window, Blast from the Past, My Fair Lady (I normally don't like musicals, but this one's alright), Truman Show, Metropolis (yes, the silent film from the 20's), Amelie, Star Wars: Trilogy (but not the new ones), Dear Frankie, Roman Holiday, Kolyá, Here Come the ABC's, Pride and Prejudice the BBC one, 50's Sci-Fi flicks, and anything black and white.
Favorite Music Ella Fiztgerald, Andrew Bird, Beirut, The Beatles, The Decemberists, Mumford & Sons, Jars of Clay, Glen Miller, Nat King Cole (who was a merry old soul), The White Stripes, Joanna Newsom, Simon and Garfunkle, The Flaming Lips, Annie Ross, Sufjan Stevens, They Might be Giants (strange but true), Billy Holiday, and Louis Armstrong.
Favorite Books Someday I'd like to be well read, but unfortunately I'm not there yet. My problem is that whenever I find a good book I read it again and again and again. Here are some of those books: Robinson Caruso, Sylvie and Bruno, The Complete Works of Shakespeare (but I'm only a third of the way through), The Odyssey, The Bible, A Camping Spree With Mr. Magee, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea, Envelopes by Harriet Russell, Moby Dick, My Book House, Jane Austin books, Secret Garden, Treasure Island, King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table, Emily Dickinson Poems, Great Expectations, The Count of Monte Cristo, Tolkin's works, Chronicles of Narnia, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Webster's Dictionary, The Jolly Postman, Mrs. Mike, Anna and the King, To Kill a Mockingbird, The House of Seven Gables, The Old Curiosity Shop, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, The Last Lion, (or just about anything by William Manchester, ) Watership Down, Sherlock Holmes, Animal Farm, The Great Gatsby, Heidenröslin, Robert Frost, Jane Eyre, The Woman in White, Fairy Tales, Books of quotations, and anything with cool illustrations.

You're going to the moon! What did you forget to pack?

Same as always... my super magnetically gravitated toothbrush.
