| Introduction | I have been a major fan of the horror genre for as long as I can remember, ever since my first viewing of Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein at the young age of four. From that first introduction to Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula and the Wolf Man nearly twenty-four years ago, I discovered the rest of Universal's classic canon, the expressionist terrors of silent Germany, the many faces of Lon Chaney, Hammer's Gothic updates, the atomic horrors of the 50's, Romero's Living Dead, 70's exploitation, 80's slashers and everything in between, and I still look forward to everything the genre has to offer that I have yet to discover, or that has yet to be made. So, if you are a like minded individual, I hope you enjoy my blog. I think it will thrill you. It may shock you. It might even horrify you. So if any of you feel that you do not care to subject your nerves to such a strain, now's your chance to-uh, well, I warned you! |
