| Introduction | Howdy, I'm Boof, and If you don't know me then just know that a good friend of mine once said I am the kind of person you would want to cage and observe. I wholeheartedly agree. Anyhoodeehoo...Rock Climbing...well...its been quite a ride. I started 8 years ago while in college at the indoor climbing facility offered by the University of Maine Orono. I was instantly hooked and since it was free for students it become my home away from home. I remember slugging cinnamon cappuccinos in the cafe of the campus library in a vain attempt to to get my study on. It was inevitable that I would cave and end up moseying on over to the wall (luckily a 2 minute walk from my study sesh). The problem was I was going 5 times a week and would end up being a miserable lout after about 30 minutes. I couldn't help it though, I needed that fix (and to NOT be at the library). Thus began my addiction. So anyway...yada yada yada...8 years later and climbing is still the lovely (evil bitch) she has always been. |
