| Introduction | Treats for a cause started because my daughter lost part of her insuance due to cutbacks. She was diagnosed with leukemia when she was two years old. We have been going through treatments and protocol Dr. office visits for 4 years and it started to add up quickly. So we turned to the community for help. We wanted to hold a bake sale to help raise some of the funds to offset the cost. I love to make cakes and treats !! It started back in 2001 when working at a little bakery. I wanted to start something that could bring the community together. And to help those in the same position I am in, to let them know that they are not alone in their fight. |
