| Introduction | I have used a Sanskrit version of my Buddhist religious name. Though there are places where I'm too well known to drop my secular name, my private life is now largely that of a Buddhist yogi. I am a follower of His Holiness Karmapa, Orgyen Trinley Dorje, and, for almost 30 years, a student of the Ven. Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, Abbot of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery, in Woodstock, New York. May all beings benefit from what is posted here. I have created this blog to handle the overflow of discussions from other blogs, and provide a quiet place to get acquainted with the friendly, or otherwise, people who reply to my comments on other blogs. It may be that from time to time I will post original material, but my health and my Buddhist practice prevents me from doing so regularly. All are welcome. If you must use coarse language please bleep it with ****. But consider that most of the things worth saying, if not all of them, don't need it. |
