| Introduction | I am a happy and energetic little boy! In May 2008 I was diagnosed with a "Major Speech Delay". Since that time I have been evaluated numerous times. In July I was evalutated for autism, in hopes that someday we would learn the cause of the speech delay. My evaluation came back and I was below average in 6 of the 8 areas. Although we haven't ever been given a medical diagnosis that evaluation shows that I could be a high functioning autistic child. Along with the speech delay I have many other signs of autism. This blog is for my family to share our struggles and accomplishments through this challenging time. We hope to someday find others that share our same story! |
