| Introduction | Mrs. Rachael (Kron) Pisarik was born and raised in Iowa City, where she has lived ever since. She attended Mark Twain Elementary, Regina, and the University of Iowa. Mrs. Pisarik's husband, Chris, is also an educator. Together, they have four girls ranging from ages four to 15. The Pisariks live in northeast Iowa City with their loyal black Labrador, two cats, a ferret, and a fish. Mrs. Pisarik has a passion for teaching adolescent literacy. The 2017-2018 school year marks Mrs. Pisarik's 19th year of teaching. |
