Introduction | www.zoefreedman.co.uk Zoë commenced her MMus at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in September 2012, studying with Alison Wells and Robert Aldwinckle. She is kindly supported in her studies by the Split Infinity Trust, the Trinity Laban Postgraduate Bursary Fund and her parents. As part of her studies she is involved in a mentoring scheme with the ENO Chorus. An active opera and concert singer, her recent performances include Sophie in scenes from Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier, Madame Herz in scenes from Mozart's Der Schauspieldirektor, Dido’s Lament with Sound Collective as part of their MusicUpClose series, and opera scenes by Handel, Mozart, Puccini, Poulenc and Judith Weir on the Birkbeck opera course. In oratorio she has performed as a soloist with J2 Chamber Choir, London Youth Opera, the London Oriana Choir and the Spires Philharmonic and Chorus. She has sung in masterclasses with Matthew Rose, Brindley Sherratt and Ian Page. |
