| Introduction | My biking history: Picked up a BMX to cruise around the city when I first moved to Vancouver 2000, and I've been hooked on bikes ever since. Started racing BMX, then moved to racing 4x on a dual suspension. I rode the North Shore everyday for about 5 years, and raced Downhill mountain bikes about the same length of time. About a 1.5 years ago, I had a couple nasty broken bones in a row on the same leg, so I picked up a road bike to help me with my recovery back to DH racing again...I've just seemed to forgotten to put the road bike down! I started racing Cat 4 women last year, and moved to Cat 3 at the end of the year where I was completely demolished by the other girls...! Bike accomplishments: 2nd and 4th at BMX Canadian Nationals 15th at Word Cup Grouse 4x, 2003 (got me arse kicked, but it was amazing!!) 2nd overall Canada Cup mountain bike, 2004 4th at National Championships, 2004 Team Canada Member, 2004 Worlds Championships, 21st 2nd at Red Bull Rampage, 2005 (2 weeks after getting my cast off!!) Becoming a roadie in 2006, with a couple top 10's at BC Cups. And the best so far...2007 having a team to ride with that are so positive and awesome!!! |
