Miss United States 2010

About me

Introduction	I was crowned Miss United States 2010 in the bright lights of Las Vegas Nevada. Over the past seven months, I have been traveling across the US as Miss United States, promoting my platform and raising awareness for volunteerism all over the United States. My personal charity is Children's Miracle Network and as Miss United States, we also work with Oprah on her "No Phone Zone", no texting while driving campaign. In the past four months, I have been able to raise $120K for Children's Miracle Network and been very blessed to work with some amazing people like Jimmy Carter, Mario Lopez, Jason London, Giuliana Rancic & Project Runway's Jonathan Kayne. I have been working as a judge, an emcee and production assistant for hundreds of productions all across the United States. My favorite charities to volunteer for are the Children’s Miracle Network (CHOA), Hands on Atlanta, the Big Brother Big Sisters Program and Toys for Tots. I'm truly addicted to volunteering and helping others especially young women. Other neat facts about me, I performed as a dancer at Walt Disney world in Orlando Florida, the 1996 Olympics and many large bowl games.
