| Introduction | My father is a patriot, volunteering to serve in Viet Nam, spending 23 yrs as an 11 Bravo. He has taught me what it means to love this country, to honor her, and, if need be, to fight for her. I served in the Army Nurse Corps, and will never forget the pride with which I wore my uniform. That battle-dress uniform tied me to every other American soldier, past and present. Given the current threat to our Republic, I'm ready to do whatever I can, even though my body is no longer able to do the "low crawl" or participate in a "company run". My brain isn't what it used to be, but I'm willing to give my last two synapses for The Cause, and the last drop of my blood. |
