| Introduction | I was a teacher, currently a stay at home mom. My husband is a teacher who I met in Colombia. We were married & had a baby less than a year after meeting. It was one of those "we just knew" moments & a whirlwind romance. 5 years & 4 kids later we've managed to keep both of our cultural/family traditions going so that our 4 kiddos grow up familiar with them. We were blessed with amazing parents who have supported & loved us immensly. I love writing so I thought a blog would be a great way to share recipes, crafts, my experiences & connect with others. I hope to write children's books someday. I'm obsessed with trying to capture each & every moment (I think I have a fear of forgetting my life someday) so I obsessively take photos of EVERYTHING and annoy both friends and family in the process. I can't help it though, as crazy/busy as my life is, every moment of it contains something beautiful. I just try to capture some of that beauty with my camera or pen. |
