Introduction Scott Pearson was first published in 1987 with “The Mailbox,” a story about an elderly farming couple. In the decades since, he has published a smattering of humor, poetry, short stories, reviews, articles, and a novel. His anthologized stories include “Out of the Jacuzzi, Into the Sauna,” in Resort to Murder, and “Finders Keepers,” in Full Throttle Space Tales #3: Space Grunts. Scott has had three Star Trek short stories and one novella, Honor in the Night, published by Simon & Schuster. His poetry has appeared in the online magazines Strange Horizons and Down in the Cellar. Scott has edited such books as Tales from a Tin Can: The USS Dale from Pearl Harbor to Tokyo Bay, which received a starred review in Publishers Weekly, and Will to Murder: The True Story Behind the Crimes & Trials Surrounding the Glensheen Killings, featured on Dominick Dunne’s Power, Privilege, and Justice TV series. Scott lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, Sandra, and daughter, Ella.
