| Introduction | Hey, it's me... Darby! Welcome to my blog. I'm new at this, but I'm rather excited to share my story with you. A few things about me... I have the most wonderful family a girl could ask for. I have a loving boyfriend whom I plan on spending the rest of my life with. I come from a background of sports: ballet, soccer, volley, basketball, and track & field. I played collegiate volleyball for a time, and had an unforgettable experience. I cherish my friendships and do my best to treat my friends like queens and kings. I am passionate about education and am currently in the process of heading back to earn a Master's degree. Finally, the reason I chose to write a blog is to have others join me in my journey of reinvention, good times and bad, in hopes that I will gain some positive affirmation and perhaps help to inspire others around me. You can whistle and steam can whistle, so why do you sing in the shower?
I sing in the shower because the acoustics provide me with the best atmosphere to cover up any crackling which might occur while attempting to sing with Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" :)However I have been told by my boyfriend that I have an excellent singing voice ha ha
