| Introduction | I've been writing all my life. I've kept a journal for years. Professionally, I've written academic articles in public administration - a field that allows one to cover almost anything, since government is involved in almost everything. Now I'm still working on some academic work and my blog tends to be more journalistic. Though I feel the need to keep things fairly succinct on the blog. Not a bad thing. |
| Interests | How can human beings live together in such a way that everyone has enough to eat, can go to school, live in a reasonable shelter, and have access to reasonable health care? |
| Favorite movies | Movies that do the most with the medium of film to tell a good story. The best are those that couldn't have been done any other way. | Favorite music | I like the best of any genre. That said, I like jazz, electronic music, ethnic music. |
| Favorite books | I like stuff that is well written, teaches me something, and keeps me reading late into the night or on an airplane.
