| Introduction | Born in Lynchburg, Virginia to Bill & Marine Hudson in a little house on Allegany Street. When WWII started, Dad got a job with the Civil Service Fire Department and we moved to Norfolk. When the war was over, we moved back to Lynchburg and Dad opened a grocery store called "Hudson's Cash & Carry". It was one of the first self-service stores in town. Three years later, Dad was offered a chance to return to Norfolk with the Fire Department. We then sold the store and moved back to Norfolk. I went to Norview H.S. and married the love of my life Nancy (Anne) McClennan of Maury H.S. We have now been married over 50 wonderful years. |
