| Introduction | In November 2006, Boy Scout Venture Crew 35 in Springfield, MA, part of Boy Scout Troop 35, decided to attempt what we were told was impossible. Design and build a truck to race in Vegas to Reno, the longest, most brutal off road race in the United States. In just one year we raised enough money to buy a stock Ford Ranger (which will be our starting point), as well as make contacts nationwide to help us do the impossible. In this blog we will keep you updated on our journey to do the impossible and prove the naysayers wrong. From Massachusetts to Nevada, if there's news it'll be posted here. |
