Introduction | I am a freelance writer and the author of three books: Shopping for a Living: A Memoir on Merging Marriage, Motherhood and Merchandising (2009), The Takeover: An Unexpected Caregiver's Story (2014) and Pulling Harvey Out of Her Hat: The Amazing Story of Mary Coyle Chase (2020). I am originally from Chicago but I have lived in Colorado since 1980. I have been married for fifty-four years and have two married sons and two grandchildren. My stories are inspired by my life history and are an attempt to share with others some of the knowledge that I have gained through the years. |
