| Introduction | Moved to Virginia in 2000 to work as a reference librarian at the Chesapeake Public Library. I've been an active birdwatcher, mostly in the western states, for over 25 years, and brought that passion with me to Virginia. My interests have expanded in recent years to include finding, identifying, and photographing new kinds of butterflies and dragonflies. I take a lot of trips in search of new species and getting that next photo, and along the way I have been able to explore a lot of the nooks and crannies in the delightful Commonwealth of Virginia. |
