| Introduction | Weight: 1.1 to 4.0 ounces. Length: 2.8 to 5.9 inches. Behavior: herbivorous, feeding mostly on leaves and shoots, grasses, and sedges in particular, but also on roots and bulbs. Like other rodents, my incisors grow continuously, allowing me to exist on much tougher forage than would otherwise be possible. |
