About me

Location New Jersey
Introduction I am an artist and author of two full-length books of poetry, Down to the Quick (2007) and One Stands Guard, One Sleeps (2009) both published by Plain View Press, and three chapbooks: A Siege of Raptors (Finishing Line Press, 2010); Detours & Diversions (Main Street Rag, 2011)and On Location (March Street Press, 2012). I am the current managing editor of U.S.1 Worksheets, the journal of the U.S.1 Poets’ Cooperative in New Jersey. I've had an eclectic career as a caseworker for the State of New Jersey providing services to homeless families, abused and foster children, and others with AIDS and/or mental disabilities. I've also been a researcher, consultant, building inspector, paralegal, day care director, journalist, foster mom, real estate agent and have taught a course at the local community college on the History of Furniture. Three years ago, I turned my attention to creating collages, and am now an "art mom" shuffling my work from show to show and attending receptions. I also maintain a presence online, my artwork published in various literary and art journals. Visit
