| Introduction | Burton Mayers Books are an independent publishing house set up in 2012 by Richard Mayers and John Burton. Our first published title, Spikez, was met with commercial success in October 2012. Since then, Burton Mayers Books have been planning similar print and ebook releases of ground-breaking titles for the children’s book market. In 2014 we acquired the exclusive rights to October's Son, an adult biographical horror by John Michaelson - our first venture of this kind. In 2018 we published our first picture book, The Hedgehog's Full Moon Party. In 2019 we published two more books for new authors, Matt Adcock and Liz Noble.
