| Introduction | Nar Leoterra is a writer, teacher, kitchen witch, tarot reader, and a rather groovy cook. She believes that kitchen witches are priests and priestesses of the hearth, keepers of the sacred flame. Her path involves honoring nature and the Wheel of the Year by being in tune with seasonal foods and their specific energies. A native Appalachian, Nar grew up in a family rich in folk wisdom and delicious recipes. Such family traditions influenced her from an early age and inspired her to begin forging the path she follows. The kitchen is the heart of the home, a warm, inviting, joyous place, where all are fed in body and in spirit. Friends, family, gods, and ancestors are all welcome at her table, as long as they don’t mind a house full of animals! |
