Introduction | I am a 60-something year old bicycling and technology enthusiast. My wife, Kathy, and I own and run a small medical software company, Synergistic Office Solutions, Inc. (http://www.sosoft.com). Kathy and I have been a life-team since the early 70's and a great portion of my cycling is shared with her on our Co-Motion tandem. We have bicycle-toured in France (oo-la-la!), Germany-Austria (yah!), Quebec (Je me souviens!), and, of course, various parts of the US. I currently have three bikes that I use regularly. Roughly half my riding is with Kathy on our 2006 Co-Motion Cappuccino tandem. My light road bike is a '99 Colnago Crystal with shaped Columbus steel tubing, and chrome fork, lug-work and chainstay. The most recent addition to the stable is a Surly "LHT" touring frame built up with a variety of components - some road and some mountain bike. On the technology side, I do pretty much everything in our company except hard-core programming. I am the one who implements and maintains most all our internal technology. For our products and customers I do application design, tech support, SQL programming, reporting, documentation, and routine web site updates. |
