| Introduction | I am a grade twelve student in a highschool that specializes in the arts. I have a major in theatre and am hoping to become a stage manager one day (if you don't know what that is, don't feel bad. Lots of people don't. Just search it on wikipedia. I think there's a page for it. Oh well. I'll explain it later). I can't think of much else, but if I've missed something, let me know and I'll try to add it. |
| Interests | Theatre, anime, roleplaying, reading way more fantasy novels than can be good for me and then daydreaming up my own stories and drawing pictures of the characters (no backgrounds though. I suck at those). |
| Favorite movies | I really like anime, my favourite movie of which being "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" or "One Stormy Night." I can't decide which. As for live-action, "The Princess Bride" is arguably one of the best movies ever made, and I also love anything with Meryl Streep or Johnny Depp. as a bit of an acting connoisseur, those two maintain a God-like position in my heart. My dream is to see them in a movie together. Oh and yes, while the name of my blog is a take-off on "Driving Miss Daisy," I regret to inform you that I have not seen that particular film. |
| Favorite music | My favourite band is the Gorillaz, an animated, underground UK pop-reggae-rap-rock-god-knows-what-else band. My favourite individual artist is Mika. He's got a gorgeous voice. |
| Favorite books | Anything fantasy, usually. Though I have vampire stories and romances, so that rules out Twilight. Sorry, but the whole "undead" thing seems a bit to close to necrophilia to me. My favourite book of all time is "I am the Messenger," by Markus Zusak, and my favourite non-fiction book would by "My Booky-Wook," the autobiography of Russel Brand (if you don't know him, YouTube his stand-up. The man is brilliant) |
