Introduction	I am one of the two district sales managers for Random House adult books, covering a territory of Texas, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. I joined Random House after working 9 years at BookPeople, the large, independent bookstore in Austin, Texas. I am the result of a double major (English and History) from a liberal arts college who sort of learned to think, but never learned how to have career aspirations. There are a lot of us in the book industry.
Interests	Books, baseball, basketball, the National Parks (and visiting all of them), absurd and potentially offensive gifts, and books
Favorite Movies	Antonia's Line, Thelma & Louise, Tremors, Office Space, Casa Blanca, All About Eve, Finding Neverland, Gosford Park
Favorite Music	I don't really listen to much music, but there are some nice Muppets songs--The Rainbow Connection, Being Green--that I like.
Favorite Books	Beloved, Sula, The Hakawati, Cloud Atlas (the David Mitchell novel), A Room of One's Own, Written on the Body, We Were the Mulvaneys, Blonde, John Henry Days, Surfacing, just about everything written by Margaret Atwood, Joyce Carol Oates, and Zadie Smith
