| Introduction | My husband and I started dating July 2006 after a 24hr drive from Maryland to Texas. My dad was planning on moving back north since he took an early retirement from GM. So my now husband offered to help haul this huge 24ft boat back halfway across the country.We get to Texas about 1 am and as we were laying there about to go to sleep he said "so are we dating now or what?" lol and ever since the drive home we knew we'd be married one day and have a family. I know it sounds odd from the 1st date but we talked for 24hrs straight with no sleep. We talked about everything we wanted in life, marriage, and family. I knew I finally found the one! So a couple years later on Christmas eve we found out we were pregnant! So I decided we should drive 18 hours to Sanibel Island to get married on the 4th of July when I was 8 months pregnant...lol We had our first baby 08/08/2008 when I was 23. I'm pretty simple and boring. I enjoy spending all my time with my husband and my son. Oh yeah, and our 2 pain in the butt dachshunds Willy and bear who are as needy as my son is. Its more like we have 3 kids. We love spending time on the river on our boat! |
