| Introduction | Two years ago a six day stay in the hospital after losing consciousness on the way to my workplace opened my eyes to how little I cared about living anymore. I worked 60-80 hours a week & because I never had time, energy or a 'life' anymore, thought my situation deserved an 'anything goes' statis. Boy, was I in for a surprise!! It has been a long slow process back from the depths of bad health coupled with chronic depression & I am not home free yet. But, I have taken matters in my own hands & am working toward the life I have always wanted to live upon retiring. This blog is all about what I have learned in the process. |
