Introduction | I am a history and literature graduate and tourist guide. My first novel "Death Behind the Headlines" by Jean Critchley, is published by Austin Macauley. |
Interests | My purpose in creating my first blog, was to make family letters and diaries, written in the course of WWll, available as a resource for those interested in family and social history, as well as historians researching the home front of WWll. My later blogs show pictures and share my impressions of countries and cities which are entirely new experiences for me. The blog created during lockdown is from family history researches of my Norfolk ancestors. I had considerable help with this from good friends who live in the West Country. A recent blog describes the difficulties all those volunteers faced in running a young person's special interest club during a pandemic."The Havell Hundred Mysteries" is a blog about the creative fiction I write. |
