Introduction	Like many people that dedicate their lives to the hospitality and tourism industry I was raised in the industry. Working at a family owned hotel for my father at a very young age and then later working in a kitchen, originally as a dishwasher, and making my way up the ranks through highschool. I worked both jobs for many years, often returning during college to make some extra cash. After graduating I returned again to manage the restaurant. I subsequently worked in the corporate business world in New York City for several years before returning to Massachusetts, where I was raised, to manage several restaurants on Martha's Vineyard. The seasonal environment here gave me the opportunity to travel extensively, something that I garnered a passion for while studying abroad in Europe during my undergraduate years. I am currently enrolled at the George Washington University's Business School in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, where I work as a graduate assistant, and continue to pursue a Master's of Tourism Administration degree with a Hospitality Concentration.
