| Introduction | Hi, This is just a quick little profile for now, (so it's not blank). I'm a psychology student with a passion for reading. I spent quite a few years as a flight attendant and decided to change jobs in order to finish my degree and spend more time at home. Books have always been a constant, and sometimes sanity saver, in my life; I traveled a LOT as a kid, then even more as an adult--Books acted both as an escape and as friends. I love being able to fall into a whole new world, or to see my world but through an entirely different viewpoint, to revisit and old friend for comfort--All things that books allow me to do. Books can challenge us, comfort us, entertain us, teach us, and open our eyes and our minds--you just need to find the right book. |
